Search And Rescue Dogs of Illinois has been faithfully serving the State of Illinois since 1998. SARDI is an all volunteer, non profit 501(c)(3) K9 Search Rescue and Recovery Organization. Each SARDI handler and K9 are certified through nationally recognized organizations. SARDI members respond to requests for service for the rescue/recovery of lost or missing persons in wilderness or urban environments from applicable local, state and/or federal responsible agencies at no cost to the agency. SARDI members are not compensated. They spend countless hours in team, individual and professional training seminars throughout the United States. Each member invests their own time, money and passion to provide responsible agencies with a professional, reliable and qualified K9 team. When a SARDI team is requested, they unselfishly respond 24 hours a day 365 days a year. SARDI members are also heavily involved in lost person prevention and education. Demonstrations and education are available for public or private organizations upon request.
